Coaching
The Haldon quartet offer string-based chamber coaching to young people and adults. We are currently offering sessions in venues in Exeter and in Totnes but are open to coaching in other areas if there is the demand. Our current principle is to offer coaching once a month and encourage the groups to meet to rehearse in between these times. You are welcome to book a one off or regular monthly sessions.
The coaching is carried out by members of the quartet and led by Andrew Gillett, our viola player, who is a very experienced teacher and chamber coach. He has extensive musical knowledge and can also help with repertoire choices. Ready formed groups are welcome but we can also accept enquiries from individuals and we will try to match these players with other players of similar abiliity to form groups. We are open to expanding to other areas so do contact us to find out if we can accomodate you. The cost will be around £12.50 per person per hour for a group of 4.
