The quartet has been enthusiastically received wherever it has performed, and their playing has been described as “extraordinary”, “beautiful” and “marvellous”.
18th November 2018 – Ashburton Arts Centre, 4pm
We are delighted to be playing at the new community-run arts centre in Ashburton. The local community, spurred on by the endlessly enthusiastic jazz musician Andy Williamson, bought this former Methodist church very recently. It is a fabulous venue for a string quartet concert; perfect size, and a *beautiful* accoustic. Bring a cushion if you find wooden pews hard going… www.ashburtonarts.org.uk. There’s lots of exciting things going on at this great venue. Ours will be an afternoon concert, starting at 4pm. More details to follow.
Bratton Clovelly was treated to something special: a quartet whose sensitivity to the music and to each other’s playing was so palpable that the audience sat captivated, hushed and utterly engaged.Joanna Wallwork
